Accessibility statement

Our target

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the design and testing target for the public website. This is an ongoing commitment rather than a claim that every possible combination of browser, assistive technology and content has received a formal independent audit.

What the site supports

• Semantic headings, landmarks and link text.
• Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
• Responsive layouts and text that reflows on small screens.
• Colour contrast designed for normal and large text.
• Reduced-motion preferences.
• A skip link for repeated navigation.

The 360 Viewer

The viewer supports pointer, touch and keyboard interaction. It has accessible labels, visible focus and reduced-motion behaviour. When WebGL cannot run, the source image remains available as a fallback. Panorama content itself should have a meaningful accessible label or Media Library alternative text supplied by the site owner.

Known limitations

An interactive visual panorama cannot communicate every visual detail on its own. Publishers should provide surrounding text when the view contains information required to understand the page. The live demo also depends on browser WebGL support for full interaction.
