SiteFuse Plugins is the controller for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to support@sitefuseplugins.com.
2. Information we may receive
Support and general enquiries
When you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message, attachments and any technical information you choose to include.
Technical request logs
The hosting infrastructure may process an IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, time and security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
Downloads
The current free plugin can be downloaded without creating an account. Standard technical request logs may still record the file request.
Premium purchases
When you enquire about or purchase Premium, we may receive your name, email address, billing details, order status, licence details and support history. A payment service used to complete an order processes payment information under its own privacy notice; SiteFuse does not receive full card details.
3. Why we use information
4. Who receives information
We use service providers only where needed to operate the site and email service. This may include website hosting, security and email infrastructure. They process information under their own terms and, where appropriate, our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights and security.
We do not sell personal information.
5. International processing
Hosting and email providers may process information in more than one country. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we expect the relevant provider to use an approved transfer mechanism or other lawful safeguard.
6. Retention
Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably useful for resolving the request and maintaining an appropriate support history, typically no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required for security, legal or accounting reasons. Infrastructure logs are retained according to the relevant provider’s operational and security periods.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to certain uses and receive portable information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Email support@sitefuseplugins.com to make a request.
8. Children
The site and plugins are intended for website owners and developers, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our services or data handling change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
